Using a separate pipe cleaner, cut two, two inch long pieces. Towards the top of the pipe cleaner that’s attached to the water bottle; make a cross with the cut pipe cleaner. Bend and twist cut pipe cleaner to attach. Do the same on the other side.

Squeeze three dots of glue onto the bottle; one for the nose and two for the eyes. Press the google eyes and nose firmly onto the bottle. I kept the bottle on its side until the glue dried.

Screen Shot 2013-12-09 at 10.20.28 AM

Reagan’s Christmas list is a mix of several different things that she’s asked for over the past few weeks. Most of her gift choices come from things that other kids have that she’s really liked, things that are available to play with at school and pictures of new apps for her iPad that she has seen in the itunes store.

Super Sorting Pie / Dyson Ball Vacuum / Graco Playset / Step 2 Shootin Hoops

Smart Snacks / Lacing Beads / Toaster Set / Animal Train

Magic Bottle and Sippy / Mickey Helmet / Mini Kick Scooter / iTunes Card

Mini Mallow Man

Who doesn’t love a craft that you can snack on the ingredients while making!

Ingredients
Mini marshmallows
Pretzel Sticks
Glue
Construction Paper
White Paint
Black Paint or Black Marker
Orange Paint or Orange Marker
Smithing to hold paint

Directions
Draw three circles to make an outline of your snowman. I traced three different sized circular objects in the attempt to create perfect circles.

20131204-081727.jpg
Using glue trace around one circle and allow your child to place the mini marshmallows on the glue. Continue the same way with the last two circles.

20131204-082010.jpg
Using glue draw two lines off of the middle circle for the arms. Have your child place a pretzel stick on top of the lined glue for the snow mans arms.

20131204-082136.jpg
Have your child dip a mini marshmallow into white paint, like a stamp, and use the marshmallow to make snow!

Paint on a hat, eyes, a mouth and buttons with the black paint. And a carrot nose, with the orange paint.

Allow to dry.
First winter craft of many! Enjoy!

Feeling Lucky

I recently purchased a pair of Lucky Brand boots, similar,  from a fabulous tiny shop in a neighboring town.  I have searched for the past few years for tall fall boots that are slim enough  for my tiny calf’s.  This is the only pair of boots that I have found that I can’t fit my entire arm down while wearing.  Being completely satisfied with my purchase, I decided to take a look at the online Lucky Brand store…What I found was amazing!

Lucky has a fabulous sale happening right now!  Lucky Brand sale items are on sale! Here are the pieces that I’m contemplating purchasing for Reagan:

I’m ecstatic to say that J.Crew Kids fits Reagan perfectly! With a long torso, shorter legs and a tiny waist line; it’s a challenge to find clothes that fit Reagan just right.
